Open day at Arun Crematorium

Arun Crematorium is issuing an open invitation to those living in and around the communities of Arundel, Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Selsey and Worthing to visit its picturesque, peaceful site.

The crematorium in West Sussex, which opened last September, is hosting an open day on Saturday 27 April between 10am and 2pm.

Visitors will be able to tour the facilities and take a walk in the landscaped grounds as well as to meet the crematorium team and find out more about the work they do and the exceptional care they provide to make each service uniquely personal.

They will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the crematory if they wish.

Arun Crematorium is part of Westerleigh Group, one of the UK’s largest independent owners and operators of crematoria and cemeteries, with 40 sites across England, Scotland and Wales, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens of remembrance which provide pleasant, peaceful places for people to visit.

Manager Adam Westwood said: “This open day is available to anyone, even if it’s just to look around and understand what we do because you live nearby and fortunately, haven’t yet had a need to visit us. Everyone is welcome, whatever your reason.

“In addition to seeing our modern and beautiful facilities, in what is one of the best equipped and eco-friendly crematoriums in the country, visitors will be able to meet my compassionate team, ask any questions they may have about what we do, and find out all about the exceptional care and services that we provide.

“We will also be fund-raising on the day for Dementia UK, Westerleigh Group’s corporate charity partner, inviting people to join us for ‘Time for a Cuppa’ to help support the work of the organisation’s specialist Admiral Nurses.

“No appointment is necessary for the open day and we very much look forward to welcoming local families to our lovely, peaceful site.”
